Porter at Goole & District Hospital

Location: Goole
Department: Facilities Directorate
Hours: 15 hours per week

About the Role

We are looking for a Porter to join our team at Goole & District Hospital. The role involves providing portering services in a busy acute hospital environment, both planned and reactive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Duties: Patient movement, distribution, stores, furniture, equipment, pharmacy, meals, pathology items, blood products, waste, movement of deceased, confidential waste, post, and laundry around the hospital site.
  • Service: Assist in providing an efficient, flexible, and customer-focused portering service across all sites.
  • Tasks: Accept and undertake work allocated through the task management system using a handheld device.
