Job Overview

As a Porter Supervisor, you’ll oversee a team that carries out a wide range of tasks, making the role both interesting and varied. No two days are the same, and because we provide services to the NHS, you’ll play an important part in supporting better care.

Your responsibilities will include organising and overseeing the collection and movement of items, waste disposal, sorting and delivering post, and moving furniture. You’ll need to manage priorities, work flexibly, and think on your feet to solve problems as they arise.

You’ll also ensure vehicles are driven safely and that work is carried out efficiently, sometimes outdoors in all weather conditions. There may be interaction with patients, so you’ll need to promote safety and show sensitivity to their needs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team and making sure a diverse range of tasks are completed to a high standard.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
