Portfolio Management Team
The Portfolio Management & Research team (Edinburgh and London) supports over 50 client mandates full-cycle—from portfolio construction to capital allocation, monitoring, reporting, and wind-down. Key functions include:
- Core mandate management
- Data & analytics
- Investment research and thought leadership
- Strategic initiatives (e.g., new product development, tech process improvements)

An exciting opportunity exists for an ambitious, numerate analyst to join Patria GPMS during a critical phase of growth. You’ll play a core role in Portfolio Management, assisting with:
- Portfolio monitoring and client reporting
- Data-enabled process improvements
- Modelling, analytics, and technology-adoption projects

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting
- Assist in compiling quarterly investor reports, ad hoc queries, and presentations.
- Support cashflow projection models and return forecasts for diverse mandates.
- Build portfolio construction, mandate overviews, and allocation committee documentation.
- Contribute macro/private equity commentary with clear, data-driven narratives.
Data, Technology & Process
- Maintain portfolio data integrity across reporting internal systems.
- Help drive process improvements (e.g., automations, workflow optimizations).
Team & Support Roles
- Collaborate with Investment & Operations teams on mandates and ad-hoc projects.
- Engage with internal/external stakeholders for initiatives.

Requirements & Qualities
Preferred Experience/Attributes
- Exposure to finance, data analysis, or quantitative environments (internships, self-study, certifications like CFA or Excel modelling preferred).
- Familiarity with private equity or private markets helpful but not essential.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint (with knowledge of PowerBI/PowerQuery a bonus).
- Sharp analytical, detail-oriented, and accurate.
- Comfort with multitasking, juggling deadlines, and proactive collaboration.
- Learner mindset: embrace feedback, seek continuous growth.
- Process-improvement drive: proactively question workflows.
