Portfolio Director – Strategic Accounts (Public Sector)

UK-wide | Travel required

Lead strategic client partnerships. Grow value. Shape outcomes.

Experis UK is hiring an experienced Portfolio Director to take ownership of a portfolio of strategic client accounts within the Public Sector, leading growth, retention, and solution diversification across key industry sectors.

This is a senior leadership role within Experis. You’ll operate as a trusted client partner at executive level, a visible and credible leader to account teams, and the commercial owner of portfolio performance, with real influence over client strategy, delivery models, and long-term outcomes.

Why this role exists

Our clients are navigating increasingly complex technology and workforce challenges. They need more than suppliers, they need partners who can bring insight, scale, and delivery capability.

As Portfolio Director, your focus will be on:

  • Strengthening long-term, high-value client partnerships
  • Expanding value through broader Experis and ManpowerGroup solutions
  • Leading and developing high-performing account teams
  • Driving profitable, sustainable portfolio growth

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
