Portfolio Management Team Leader

Role Overview

The Portfolio Management Team Leader is responsible for leading and performance-managing the Portfolio Management Team, ensuring the smooth, accurate, and timely delivery of all client onboarding, offboarding, tenancy changes, and managing agent transitions. The role owns these processes end-to-end, coordinating closely with mobilisation, property management, and internal teams to deliver seamless client experiences with minimal disruption.

A key focus is driving consistency, reducing errors, and maintaining clear audit trails across all activity using systems such as Zendesk and Optima, while proactively identifying risks and taking action to protect service delivery.

This role requires a hands-on leader who:

  • Sets clear expectations
  • Manages priorities
  • Holds the team accountable for performance and outcomes

You will:

  • Build a high-performing, engaged team
  • Develop strong external relationships with suppliers to ensure timely confirmations and resolution of issues
  • Use data and operational insight to continuously improve processes
  • Drive efficiency and strengthen supplier performance
  • Ensure delivery against tight deadlines and high service standards in a fast-paced environment

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
