RED GLOBAL- LIMS PORTFOLIO MANAGER-HYBRID-ENGLAND-ASAP START-6MONTHS+
RED Global, on behalf of a Key Client Partner, is currently searching for LIMS (LabWare) portfolio manager. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for owning and delivering a global IT Operations transformation portfolio, with a primary focus on Laboratory systems and regulated IT platforms.

Location: Hybrid, England – Chesire
Duration: 6months+

The role will lead a portfolio of large-scale transformation programs (e.g., LIMS upgrades, lab digitalization, integration platforms), while directly managing Program Managers, senior business stakeholders, and strategic product vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and define the end-to-end IT Ops transformation portfolio strategy aligned to enterprise priorities
- Drive a multi-year roadmap for Labs IT modernization (LIMS, ELN, CDS, integrations, data platforms)
- Ensure transformation initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes and operational efficiency
- Lead a portfolio of large, complex transformation programs delivered through multiple Program Managers
- Provide direction, governance, and oversight to ensure:
- On-time and on-budget delivery
- Alignment with scope, quality, and compliance requirements
- Drive standardized delivery practices across programs (Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall)
- Directly manage and mentor a team of Program Managers / Delivery Leads
- Set clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability frameworks
- Build a high-performing delivery organization across geographies
- Enable capability uplift across portfolio, program, and project management disciplines
- Act as the primary interface for senior business stakeholders across Labs, Quality, R&D, and Operations
