We’re one of the UK’s largest Edinburgh-based (with London headquarters and regional offices) wealth managers. Our services span:

Key Responsibilities
Daily Portfolio Oversight (DFM/IFA Service Model)
- Assume responsibility for discretionary IFAs’ portfolios under senior supervision (gradient of ownership escalation).
- Build and cultivate mutually beneficial IFA relationships through responsiveness, professionalism, and transparent confidence-building meetings.
- Engage with IFAs and end clients to articulate portfolio strategies—positioning, performance risks, and investment rationale.
- Implement rebalancing, cash management, and mandate amendments align with predefined client objectives, suitability guidelines, and governance frameworks.
- Monitor broader market trends and technical securities exposure (ITA policies permitting).

Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate with research, trading, operations, risk, and compliance teams for efficient execution and adherence to controls.
- Contribute to investment governance via portfolio commentaries and internal forums as required.
Business Growth & Risk Management
- Collaborate with business development on new opportunities—converting introductions into mandates via excellent service and retainer strategies.
- Identify potential risks—notifications (operational.portfolio.relational)—escalate and remediate Swiftly.
- Uphold all policies, regulations, and corporate compliance standards.
What You Bring
Critical Requirements
- 5+ years experience in portfolio/key investment management, including meaningful DFM/IFA exposure.
- Technical role ownership credibility (transitioning from oversight to independent mandate control).
- Confidence مستوىاه majority of external meetings as the primary service contact person.
- Teamwork + meticulous organisational skills (prioritisation in client-facing environments).
- Relevant investment qualification: CISI Level 7 preferred (lower qualification may suffice if Level 6 exceeds + demonstrable experience).
- Edinburgh-based, willing to voyage regionally (assignable driving preference).
