We operate a hybrid working policy across our business to ensure we offer flexibility that is balanced with in-person collaboration. Our teams spend three days per week in the office and two days working remotely.
About your work
Lendinvest are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our Development Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with experience of Development Finance who is looking to grow and develop their skills.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management of Development Finance opportunities through due diligence to completion and then overseeing the management through to Practical Completion and eventual redemption/refinance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist all stakeholders with the application process and ensure responses are prompt, with professionals providing updates throughout the process. Liaise with and instruct professionals (Valuers, Quantity Surveyors and Solicitors), reviewing each respective report and presenting to Credit Underwriting. Proactively manage facilities through due diligence, acting as a main contact for the Borrower, Professionals and Internal Stakeholders. Manage a portfolio of drawn facilities, reviewing PMS progress reports, processing drawdowns and adhering to the LI policies. Produce Credit Amendment papers, present to Credit and oversee the completion Full understanding of funding line requirements Input loan details accurately in the requisite database system, keeping data accurate and in a timely manner. Contribute to the improvement of processes and efficiency. Provide support to the Development Finance team Undertake site visits to enhance own understanding of the scheme and any issues which may be forthcoming Build up and maintain relationships with our clients and professional teams in order to enhance own career profile.

About you
Experience of Development Finance at a similar lender would be preferable. A clear and confident communicator at all levels (face to face, verbal & written). Good presentation skills and the ability to form personable relationships quickly. Ability to build and maintain long term business relationships. Detailed approach and excellent organisational skills Ability to manage high volume of cases and ensure key stakeholders are provided correct and precise updates. Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines Works well within a team Ability to adapt to system and process changes.
