Role Summary
As a Portfolio Manager in the Capital Investment Team, you’ll support a Technology Transfer service in Poland—playing a vital role from requirements definition through to operational handover.
- Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
- Reports to the Senior Programme Manager.
- Builds cross-functional relationships across teams, sites, and stakeholders.
- Leads internal and customer-facing project integration, with clear financial and performance reporting to senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver critical work packages, ensuring alignment with portfolio objectives and business priorities.
- Own full end-to-end delivery with accountability for timelines, technical performance, financial outcomes, and quality standards.
- Cultivate and manage customer/supplier relationships, communicating expectations and progress.
- Financial management: Drive targets for orders, sales, margins, and cash flow projections.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions, ensuring accurate reporting and business tool adherence.

Essential Requirements

Degree qualification (or equivalent professional experience) in engineering or manufacturing with defence sector experience.

Project management certification (e.g., APM, PMI, PRINCE2) and hands-on experience with tools:
- Microsoft Project
- Predict!
- SAP

Proficiency in project management best practices, including:
- Commercial/financial alignment
- Cross-functional coordination
- Risk/opportunity management

Proven abilities to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

About the Poland Transfer of Technology (ToT) Team
This team partners closely with our Polish customer in a trusted, collaborative relationship, delivering critical operational capabilities. It encompasses expertise in technology transfer across the three munitions sites.
