Portfolio Manager (VP), MENA Private Equity, Global Family Office (Role Based in Middle East)

Background: Our client is a prominent single-family office, based in one of the major GCC financial hubs, with a multi-asset investment strategy and a diversified international portfolio spanning sectors across private and public equities. As a Single Family Office (SFO) they are able to deploy north of USD 10 Billion and are seeking top-tier talent to join their team in the Middle East.

About role: Reporting to the Head of MENA Investments, they are looking for an experienced professional to drive investment activity across direct private investments, co-investments and selected public equity transactions across the MENA region, with an emphasis on private equity investments.

This individual will own financial modelling, lead transaction execution and sourcing initiatives and actively manage a complex legacy portfolio while supporting significant capital deployment. The role requires someone who can operate independently from day one and act as partner to senior leadership in building and growing the MENA portfolio.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
