Allica Bank: Remote SME Relationship Manager
About Allica Bank
Allica is the UK’s fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) company—and the fastest-growing in the sector. Our purpose is to support one of Fintech’s last major underserved opportunities: established SMEs.
Half of the UK’s economy is built on SMEs—yet they’ve long been overlooked by both traditional high-street banks and modern fintechs. We’re changing that.
Role Description
Take ownership of your portfolio of SMEs onboarded through Allica’s client acquisition efforts. As a fully remote role, you’ll be the human bridge between businesses and Allica—helping them turn their ambitions into reality.
In this critical relationship-led position, you’ll:
- Act as the single, trusted point of contact for our rapidly growing SME client base.
- Partner with business owners to uncover their goals, challenges, and needs.
- Directly contribute to improving our banking solutions to better serve SMEs.
- Work with internal teams to drive innovation and end-to-end improve our service.
- Support both new and existing clients to derive maximum value from Allica’s current accounts, deposit products, and lending solutions.
The role exists to propel Allica toward becoming the UK’s most recommended bank for established SMEs. This isn’t your average “sales” job—it’s about true partnership.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Client Relationship Management
- Successfully remote-manage a portfolio of established SME clients.
- Help businesses maximise Allica’s growing product suite and streamline their financial operations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
