Portfolio Resource Manager | Hybrid | Permanent

Are you an organised Portfolio Resource Manager or PMO professional who enjoys bringing structure, insight and clarity to complex change portfolios?

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation undergoing significant business transformation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing Planning & Portfolio team, supporting the successful delivery of a diverse change portfolio.

The Role

As Portfolio Resource Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate portfolio information, supporting governance, and providing meaningful reporting that enables informed decision-making. You'll work closely with Portfolio Managers, Project Managers and Programme Managers to ensure portfolio data is current, reliable and aligned with governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain portfolio plans, trackers, dashboards and reporting packs
  • Gather, validate and consolidate updates across multiple projects and programmes
  • Support portfolio governance by preparing meeting packs, action logs and decision records
  • Track risks, issues, dependencies, resource capacity and delivery milestones
  • Coordinate change requests, business cases and stage gate activities
  • Maintain portfolio documentation, templates and version control
  • Identify opportunities to improve portfolio processes, reporting and data quality

About You

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Portfolio Analyst, PMO Analyst or Project Support role
  • Experience supporting change or transformation portfolios
  • Strong reporting, planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confidence working with stakeholders across project, programme and portfolio teams
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with experience using portfolio or project management tools
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
