About the Role: Portfolio Sales Consultant

Stannah’s Mansfield Branch is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to expand our local service portfolio and drive growth. If you have contract sales experience (ideally within the lift industry—or from related sectors)—this role could be your next step.

As our Sales Consultant, you’ll:

  • Grow the branch’s service projects across Passenger Lifts, Escalators, Goods Lifts, Stairlifts, and Access Lifts.
  • Forge long-term customer relationships while balancing new acquisition and contract renewals.
  • Deliver tailored solutions that prioritise safety, reliability, and service excellence.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will include:

  • New Business Development:

    • Identify potential customers, including those with approaching warranty expirations.
    • Develop technical propositions that align with customer needs.
  • Account Management:

    • Renew and grow contracts with existing clients.
    • Maintain close relationships with key accounts.
  • Field & Technical Activities:

    • Conduct site surveys and technical assessments.
    • Prepare accurate proposals and tenders.
  • Record-Keeping & Collaboration:

    • Log all sales activities via our CRM and internal systems.
    • Work closely with the branch team to align on service standards and opportunities.
  • Compliance & Travel:

    • Full UK driving license required due to field travel needs.
    • Adhere to company safety protocols and navigate regional service areas.

Requirements

We’re looking for:

  • Contract Sales Experience: Preferring a background in lift industry sales (but similar commercial sectors will be considered).
  • Technical Aptitude: A familiarity with lifts is an advantage—we’ll welcome lift engineers, maintenance specialists, or technical sales professionals.
  • Self-Starter: Initiative, drive, and enthusiasm are essential.
  • Guidance Provided: While self-driven, onboarding will ensure you thrive in your role.
