Portfolio Scheduler / Programme Planner – CDMO Organisation

Your New Role

As a Portfolio Scheduler/ Programme Planner, your role will encompass:

Core Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining integrated programme schedules, ensuring:
    • Logical sequencing of tasks
    • Effective dependency management
    • Clear identification of the critical path for successful delivery
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders to:
    • Challenge unrealistic timelines, dependencies, and resource allocations
    • Drive realistic and achievable planning
  • Analysing schedule impacts of changes, including:
    • Risk identification
    • Bottleneck detection
    • Mitigation strategy development
  • Reporting and analysing schedule performance to:
    • Provide insights for informed decision-making
    • Support strategic programme progression

Key Requirements

To excel in this critical role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in portfolio/planning scheduling
  • Expertise in critical path analysis and dependency management
  • Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
  • Experience navigating multi-stakeholder, complex environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to constructively challenge assumptions
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capability
