Your New Role
As a Portfolio Scheduler/ Programme Planner, your role will encompass:
Core Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining integrated programme schedules, ensuring:
- Logical sequencing of tasks
- Effective dependency management
- Clear identification of the critical path for successful delivery
- Collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders to:
- Challenge unrealistic timelines, dependencies, and resource allocations
- Drive realistic and achievable planning
- Analysing schedule impacts of changes, including:
- Risk identification
- Bottleneck detection
- Mitigation strategy development
- Reporting and analysing schedule performance to:
- Provide insights for informed decision-making
- Support strategic programme progression

Key Requirements
To excel in this critical role, you must have:
- Proven experience in portfolio/planning scheduling

- Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
- Experience navigating multi-stakeholder, complex environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to constructively challenge assumptions
