Ready to lead, influence and make a genuine difference?

At Lifeways, we're passionate about delivering outstanding, person-centred support that enables people to live the lives they choose.

We're looking for an experienced Lead Positive Behaviour Support Specialist to join our national Specialist Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to combine hands-on clinical expertise with leadership, coaching and service improvement across one of the UK's largest supported living providers.

You'll lead a small team of dedicated PBS Practitioners, manage some of the organisation's most complex referrals and work alongside operational teams to develop innovative, evidence-based support that improves quality of life for the people we support.

What you'll be doing

You'll play a key role in driving high-quality Positive Behaviour Support across the South region by:

  • Leading and supporting a team of Specialist Support Practitioners.
  • Managing a clinical caseload, including our most complex referrals.
  • Completing Functional Behaviour Assessments and developing high-quality Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Coaching managers and support teams to implement effective, least restrictive interventions.
  • Providing expert guidance following complex incidents and supporting post-incident reviews.
  • Analysing behavioural data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding outcomes.
  • Championing person-centred approaches and promoting best practice across services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
