Shape the Future of Post Completion at Freeths
We're looking for an experienced Post Completion professional to lead and develop our newly created Post Completion Team within the Built & Natural Environment Division. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and shape a specialist function that will play a key role in delivering efficient, high-quality Real Estate support services across the business. You'll combine people leadership, process improvement and operational excellence to create a scalable service that supports both lawyers and clients.

What You'll Do

  • Build, lead and develop a high-performing Post Completion Team.
  • Manage post-completion services across a broad range of Real Estate matters.
  • Establish best-practice processes, service standards and quality controls.
  • Work closely with Partners, legal teams and business support colleagues.
  • Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and the use of technology.

About You

  • Significant experience of Real Estate post-completion processes within a law firm.
  • Strong understanding of HM Land Registry and Registers, property registration requirements and associated post-completion activities.
  • Knowledge of SDLT, Land and Buildings Transaction Tax, Land Transaction Tax and related post-completion compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing high-volume, deadline-driven transactional workloads.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams in a legal support environment - is desirable, though full training will be provided.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with Partners and legal teams.
  • Previous team leadership experience is beneficial but not essential.
