Post Office Clerk – Part-Time Role

About the Role

Salary: £13.25 per hour + great benefits Schedule: Part-time (24 hours per week, Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, with flexibility required) Location: EUROSPAR Carrick, 26 Middle Road, Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim, BT38 9DN

As a Post Office Clerk, you’ll assist in the day-to-day running of the branch while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement:
    • Listen to and understand customer needs; provide clear advice on services and products.
    • Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction by following company procedures.
  • Operational Duties:
    • Handle and balance cash accurately.
    • Perform administrative tasks, including record-keeping and processing transactions.
  • Service Extension:
    • Provide outstanding customer care.
    • Travel to other Post Office branches when required.
    • Assess both existing and new responsibilities to meet the needs of the role.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

✅ Cash Handling Experience ✅ Sales/Active Selling Background (with an emphasis on meeting targets) ✅ Back-Office Administrative Experience

Desirable Qualifications

  • A strong educational background
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software

Working Hours
