Post Office Manager Level 1 - Dundonald Area

Post Office Manager Level 1 – Dundonald Area £13.70 per hour + Benefits Full-time (40 hours per week) | Monday to Saturday (9am – 5:30pm)

About the Role

Reporting to the Store Management Team, the Post Office Manager ensures the efficient daily operation of this branch while delivering high-standard customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Profit Optimisation: Contribute to Post Office improvement initiatives, aiming to maximise revenue and reduce loss through allocated tasks.
  • Customer-focused Leadership: Lead team operations to achieve unparalleled customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative & Operational Excellence
    • Cash handling, balancing and reconciliation
    • Complete postal and clerical duties per company policy
  • Premium Customer Care: Deliver exceptional service daily, upholding Post Office standards.
  • Branch Collaboration: Potential travel between Post Office branches for internal support.
  • Flexibility: Perform additional role-specific tasks as required.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will have: ✔ Customer-focused mindset with strong leadership skills ✔ Excellent written and verbal communication (essential for team engagement) ✔ Proven experience in

  • Cash handling accuracy
  • Sales-driven positions (reaching targets preferred)
  • Back-office administration

Desirable Criteria

Bonus traits (not essential but strongly considered): • Completion of Further Education (FCE) or equivalent • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
