Postdoctoral Research Assistant (PDRA) in Anthropology
A vibrant and dynamic institution, our Anthropology Department boasts an outstanding international reputation for teaching and research, ranking as one of the largest and most diverse in the UK. With nearly 40 permanent academic staff, we span social, evolutionary, and health anthropology, welcoming over 130 undergraduates and 70 postgraduates each year from around the world.

The Role
Applications are invited for a short-term PDRA role in Anthropology, focused on assisting with the ERC-funded project Alive Africa. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), the successful candidate will:
- Manage and analyse research materials collected in Sierra Leone
- Support translation and data organisation
- Collaborate on development and publication of findings
Key Responsibilities

- Explain specialist or technical materials clearly through presentations and discussions to the research team
