About the Role
This role combines delivering parcels and letters with operating Royal Mail vehicles. You’ll be responsible for:
- Making accurate and reliable deliveries within your allocated area
- Managing deliveries using GPS navigation systems
- Packing, sorting, and securing parcels and letters for transport
- Completing route paperwork and maintaining records
- Ensuring high levels of customer service and communal engagement

What We’re Looking For
- Upbeat, independent, and self-motivated – with a commitment to hard work and reliability
- Organised and punctual, with a focus on excellent customer service
- People-oriented – enjoyment of community engagement and being a friendly face
- Willing to walk for long periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong sense of community, with pride in your work
- Full UK manual driving licence; no more than 6 penalty points (linked to driving record)

Compensation & Pay
- Hourly rate: £13.06/hour (adjusted monthly based on working hours)
- Overtime: Enhanced rate of x1.25 for hours exceeding 40 per week

- 22.5 days holiday (pro-rata and increased with length of service)
