Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) – Reading East Delivery Office
Location: Reading East Delivery Office, RG6 1AZ
Job Type: Permanent contract
Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available
Working Hours: 30 hours per week (5 days across Monday–Sunday) | Shift Timing: 08:30–15:30*

Your duties will include varied shift patterns (including weekends), flexible delivery routes, and direct interaction with customers across your neighbourhood.
What You’ll Do
- Sort and dispatch letters/parcels at the delivery office
- Deliver mail both by van and on foot in your neighbourhood
- Build customer relationships and respond to enquiries
- Work outdoors in all conditions (rain, snow, or shining sun!)
You’ll handle much more than standard mail: exam results, birthday cards, business orders, and time-sensitive packages—this role ensures you play a real part in people’s lives every day.

About You
✅ Essential:
- Full valid UK manual car licence (no more than 6 penalty points), registered to your current name/address.
- Clean driving record with a recent driving assessment pass (training provided).
- Physical fitness – Comfortable walking long distances, lifting heavier bags, and navigating stairs/terrains.
- Self-motivated and customer-focused with a focus on delivering first-class service.
- No specific qualifications needed—willingness is all you require!
