Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 37:00 hours per week, between 07:00 and 19:00, working 5 days across Monday – Sunday
Note: Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Sundays on a rota basis.

About the Role
As a Delivery Postie, you will:

Your Responsibilities
- Walk long distances reliably outdoors in various weather, at times in the dark.
- Ensure fair, friendly, and prompt handling of letters, parcels, postal packages etc.
- Manage deliveries efficiently to on-time performance targets.
- Drive customer vehicles as needed (licence requirements referenced below).
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professional behaviour.
- Collaborate effectively within the team.
- Develop and maintain a positive company image through every interaction.

About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys:
- Being upbeat, independent and self-motivated
- Maintaining discipline, punctuality, and an organised mindset
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Connecting with people as part of the community
- Being fit for purpose—walking for hours, working weather-induced shifts, and carrying items.
- Enhancing community pride and positives in the workplace.
- Having a valid UK manual driving licence (valid up to vehicle policy).
November 2024 update: You may have up to 6 penalty points on your licence.
