Job reference: 337848

Location: Dorking Delivery Office, RH4 1SA

Job type: Permanent contract

Hours: 37:00 hours per week, between 07:00 and 19:00, working 5 days across Monday – Sunday

Note: Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Sundays on a rota basis.

About the Role

As a Delivery Postie, you will:

Your Responsibilities

  • Walk long distances reliably outdoors in various weather, at times in the dark.
  • Ensure fair, friendly, and prompt handling of letters, parcels, postal packages etc.
  • Manage deliveries efficiently to on-time performance targets.
  • Drive customer vehicles as needed (licence requirements referenced below).
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and professional behaviour.
  • Collaborate effectively within the team.
  • Develop and maintain a positive company image through every interaction.

About You

We are looking for someone who enjoys:

  • Being upbeat, independent and self-motivated
  • Maintaining discipline, punctuality, and an organised mindset
  • Delivering exceptional customer service

  • Being fit for purpose—walking for hours, working weather-induced shifts, and carrying items.

  • Having a valid UK manual driving licence (valid up to vehicle policy).

November 2024 update: You may have up to 6 penalty points on your licence.
