About The Role

Join Our Team as a Poultry Worker - Scutt Mill, Hereford

We’re looking for a dedicated Poultry Worker to join our Agriculture team at our breeder laying site in Hereford. If you’re motivated, reliable, and eager to develop a career in farming, this could be the perfect role for you!

  • 39 hours per week (5 days)
  • Monday-Friday 07:30-16:00

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Caring for bird welfare, including feeding and monitoring flock wellbeing
  • Working in poultry houses: walking sheds, laying shavings, handling chickens
  • Collecting, screening, and packing eggs, including paperwork completion
  • General farm duties (e.g. ground maintenance, equipment use)

What We’re Looking For

  • Motivated, flexible, and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Manual handling training (desirable)
  • Experience in agriculture or similar environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Poultry welfare certificate / NVQ Level 2 in Livestock Production (desirable - training provided if needed)
