Pound Manager

Pound Manager – NSL (Part of Marston Holdings Ltd.)

We are more than just "the parking people". NSL delivers outsourced business services across the public and private sectors, ensuring smooth parking and street management for communities—whether those are England’s neighbourhoods or bustling high streets. Currently supporting 4,000+ highly trained colleagues**,** we’re growing and seek an enriched Approach Manager for our award-winning teams.

Key Requirements

About the Role

Pound Managers manage the day-to-day operation of a vehicle pound and payment centre, ensuring both security and quality customer service standards. This isn’t just about parking—it’s about maintaining smooth giao dịch with prices, timekeeping transparency, ongoing compliance, and team morale.


Core Duties & Responsibilities

Management & Operations

  • Lead & oversee a pound team, guaranteeing seamless, high-quality operations.
  • Drive efficiency and compliance—establishing and enforcing NSL’s procedures, policies, and best practices.
  • Host regular team meetings and cultivate open communication with supporting Employee Feedback.
  • Uphold pound security, monitor 24/7 CCTV operation, and undertake risk assessments.
  • Apply due diligence to vehicle records, ensuring accuracy in evidence, fines, and disputes.

Customer & Regulatory Compliance

  • Deliver first-class customer service, handling inquiries and improving client trust.
  • Support that drivers fulfil UK Working Time Directive reporting to guard against fatigue.
  • Remotely download and log HGV tachograph data for compliance.
  • Manage client-friendly communications, attending meetings to resolve pound-related issues.
  • Ensure timelines, processes, and agreed services meet NSL’s and the client’s contractual standards.

Maintenance & Legal Compliance

  • Proactively arrange vehicular maintenance schedules, ensuring DVSA compliance.
  • Oversee truck servicing cycles, tracking repairs, and maintaining documentation.

  • Proven leadership of security and logistics teams.
  • Formal CPC Logistics Managers qualifications (non-negotiable).
  • Adapted experience in similar regulated environments as claimed.
  • Knowledge of Road Traffic Regulation Act 2004 strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication—primes for clarity, clarity, NONCRY
