Power BI Developer
The role in a nutshell: To develop, maintain & support industry leading Business Intelligence solutions for KINTO, across a diverse range of BI technologies and platforms, but mainly focused on Power BI reporting in a MS SQL based reporting stack.
A bit about the IT Team: At KINTO UK, our IT team drives the business forward by managing information security, service desk provisioning, and infrastructure support. Alongside software development and data warehousing, we oversee project and change management. We partner seamlessly with KINTO business functions, the broader Toyota family, and external service providers to deliver secure and scalable technology solutions.
Your Duties:
Working alongside a broad range of colleagues across IT and the Business, delivering both internal and external reporting requirements - using Power BI, SSRS and Microsoft SQL Development primarily of Power BI reports/dashboards, adhering to KINTO branding and standard look and feel; strong data modelling of Power BI semantic models with good performant design Able to develop SSRS reports adhering to KINTO branding and standard look and feel Produce accurate reporting with solid testing and supporting documentation Strong SQL/T-SQL skills using SQL Server Support the analysis and requirement gathering for new customer reports or changes to existing reports, delivering improved access to data insight for business stakeholders and customers Own assigned Service Desk requests to fix/amend/build Reports as agreed with the Manager Ensure Tickets are managed within agreed SLAs Work closely with IS & Business teams to ensure the data is precisely specified, understood and consistent; and any integrity issues are identified and resolved Uphold Data Security Identify potential opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to line management

Requirements
Essential:
Please note that all KINTO-UK Ltd employees are required to undergo and successfully obtain Enhanced Security Clearance. These checks include verification of employment history, family background, and financial records
Key Experience & Skills:
Must demonstrate extensive experience across primarily Power BI, with MSSQL Server SQL, T-SQL, and SSRS Experience working to an enterprise coding framework standard across multiple technologies in design, development and testing, adhering to development standards and protocols Able to produce high quality design, systems and testing documentation Understand the requirements of working in a highly regulated/audited environment Understand and explain the need for data controls, governance and conformance and follow the required protocols to maintain this Sound experience of troubleshooting/problem solving and resolving data related issues, establishing root cause and identifying/creating suitable solutions An understanding of the KINTO UK Business environment and the relevant UK Regulatory Framework The successful applicant will need to gain SC clearance.
Advantageous:
Knowledge and experience of Data Warehouse development Any working knowledge of administration and development of Qlikview and NPrinting
This role that you are applying for, will be working for KINTO-UK Ltd which is a Mobility Brand owned by the Toyota Group, offices located in Portsmouth. KINTO-UK share their HR function with Toyota Financial Services (TFS) in the UK, however the job being advertised will not be working directly for Toyota Financial Services.
