Power Platform / SharePoint Developer
£425-475 per day, Outside IR35
5+ Month Contract
Remote (Must be based in the UK)
Our Consultancy partner urgently requires the support of a Power Platform / SharePoint Developer to help deliver a program within the Insurance sector.
The consultant will work primarily across Microsoft Power Platform capabilities, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 integrations.
The consultant will be responsible for:
- Working with the Product Manager, UX engineer, architecture, security, and business stakeholders to understand the problem, clarify assumptions, and shape a feasible solution approach
- Designing, configuring, developing, testing, documenting, and refining the agreed solution, including relevant components
- Producing a secure, maintainable, and supportable solution that follows agreed design standards, architectural patterns, security practices, and governance expectations
- Evaluating design options, prototyping where useful, and participating in design reviews to confirm feasibility, usability, scalability, and alignment to the intended business outcome
- Creating and executing appropriate tests, including test cases aligned to acceptance criteria, integration points, and security expectations
- Supporting release preparation and deployment through GitHub Actions
- Creating sufficient technical documentation, release notes, configuration guidance, and handover material so the internal team can support and evolve the solution after the engagement ends
- Resolving defects identified during delivery, testing, user validation, release, and early-life stabilisation, within the agreed engagement scope

The consultant should have demonstrable experience in:
- Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online
- Designing and building secure, maintainable, enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions
- Requirements clarification, stakeholder engagement, and constructive challenge in an agile, product-led team
- Testing practices, including test planning, test execution, and defect resolution
- Integration with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and APIs, where required
- Technical documentation, release preparation, and handover
Start 20th of July. Initial Contract until the end of 2026 with likely extensions beyond.
