On behalf of the National Crime Agency we are looking for a Power Platform Developer (Inside IR35) for a 12 month contract. Hybrid working based in either London, Bristol or Warrington.

About the Role

As a Power Platform Developer your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards aligned to Agency and platform standards.
  • Build and maintain integrations with Microsoft 365, Dynamics, and other line-of-business systems, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Produce clear documentation including design specifications, configuration details, and user guidance to support ongoing maintenance and reuse.
  • Work collaboratively with business analysts, project managers, and service teams to refine requirements, plan sprints, and deliver iterative releases.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with Power Platform governance guard rails, accessibility, information security, and data protection policies.
  • Support the development of internal capability by sharing knowledge and contributing to a reusable library of assets and templates.

Essential Requirements

  • An active SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. (Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.)
  • Proven experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AD and data connectivity within enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform governance, solution management and environment strategies.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management (ALM), GitHub or Azure DevOps pipelines and version control.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
