Power Platform Technical Consultant

TEKenable is looking for an experienced Power Platform consultant for a permanent position working remotely in Ireland or the UK.

The suitable candidate will work as part of our overall managed services team, coordinating the delivery of service excellence through our dedicated managed services function.

As part of this role, you will use your existing skills in Power Platform/Dynamics configuration and development to support modern, cloud-based solutions and will have an opportunity to broaden your skills to other key Microsoft technologies. These technologies include.NET, .NET Core, c#, Azure cloud, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, Java script and SharePoint.

The suitable candidate will need to be a team player, self-motivated, decision maker and keen to guide and manage existing support engineering personal where needed. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, excellent customer engagement skills, problem-solving skills, the ability to work on more than one project at a time and see tasks through to their completion.

Responsibilities

  • Work on existing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform projects to support configurations and customisations.
  • Support, manage and deliver ongoing platform application support with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Accountable for problem resolution and implementation of corrective actions where required.
  • Working with other team members to analyse system functions and review functional and technical specifications.
  • Understanding incoming incidents, replicating these on UAT / QA / Sandbox environments to allow for fix verifications.
  • Work with team members to ensure best practice and quality approach to customer software support.
  • Ensure high standards of customer engagement and services are maintained.
  • Expected to complete work-related training and learning with the goal of obtaining relevant Microsoft Certifications in the Power Platform.
  • Writing technical documentation.

Experience

  • Industry experience working in software support environments.
  • Experience in a .NET programming language, preferably C#.
  • Experience in the Microsoft Power Platform - MS PowerApps, Power BI and Power Automate.
  • Experience in Data, UI, Logic, Data Verse and Visualisations.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
  • Strong Customer engagement and delivery experience.
  • Experience with Azure / Cloud concepts Knowledge.
  • ITIL Framework.

And as a candidate, you must have:

  • Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to support and communicate with users on all levels.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Ability to be resilient, customer-centric and strong decision-making skill.
  • A strong desire and ability to learn new platforms and technologies.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Working in managed services / SLA-based support.
  • Experience in Azure and Azure DevOps.
  • Any MS certifications.
  • SharePoint 365.

Education

  • Relevant third level qualification in Business or IT advantageous but not essential.
  • Some formal Management or Leadership training advantageous.
  • Relevant technical accreditations highly desirable.

Hiring Process

Once you are successfully selected for interview a dedicated talent acquisition manager will reach out and arrange a short pre-screening call. We want to learn more about you and the experience you can bring to the position. The interview process will have 2-3 stages and we will work around your availability.
