Business Development Manager, Power Products
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager, Power Products to drive growth, expand market share, and accelerate our enclosures business across Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, entrepreneurial sales professional who thrives on developing new business, building executive-level relationships, and creating winning go-to-market strategies.
What will you do?
In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and strengthening Schneider Electric's position in the enclosure market by developing both new and existing customer and channel partner relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a national growth strategy to achieve and exceed sales and order targets.
- Identify, research, and pursue new target market opportunities to increase market share for Schneider Electric's universal enclosure portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level decision makers, customers, and channel partners.
- Research and develop prospective accounts throughout Central and Eastern Canada.
- Identify, recruit, and develop high-value channel partners that support long-term business growth.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline to ensure sustained growth and business expansion.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform strategy and uncover new opportunities.
- Develop compelling quotes, proposals, and business cases for prospective customers.
- Align customer business challenges with Schneider Electric solutions to deliver measurable value.
- Enable and align sales teams on the enclosure product line and associated value propositions.
- Lead and support go-to-market strategies that accelerate growth for enclosure solutions and related product offerings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful execution of growth initiatives.
- Drive business growth by managing and developing a portfolio of channel partners through strategic field engagement.
- Uncover new opportunities by understanding customer challenges and presenting tailored solutions from our complete offering.
- Collaborate with specialized sales resources to craft winning proposals that address complex customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the value chain to maximize success and beat the competition.
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of technical sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience.
- Experience with power distribution and motor control solutions (Universal Enclosures, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Contactors, TeSys Product Family, Circuit Breakers).
- Proven ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate effectively with customers, partners, and executive-level stakeholders.
- Strong adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Digital fluency, including comfort leveraging AI-enabled tools and technologies.
- French fluency is considered a strong asset. For Quebec-based candidates functional French is required.
- Ability to travel up to 50% across Canada.

The expected pay range is 129,600 - 172,800$ per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
