Academics Rochester are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and committed teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school in Rochester from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to provide PPA cover across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 for four days per week. The successful candidate will work alongside dedicated staff to deliver high-quality teaching and learning across a range of year groups and curriculum subjects.

We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience of teaching within Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and high expectations for all pupils.
- Can quickly establish positive relationships with children and staff.
- Is adaptable, organised and confident teaching across different age groups.
- Has a good understanding of safeguarding and inclusion.
- Is committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential.

The position is initially offered on a fixed-term basis for Term 1, with the possibility of extension subject to school requirements.
The teacher must hold a fully enhanced DBS on the update service (if you do not have one, Academics can assist you with the DBS application process).
