PPC Manager
Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PPC Manager to join our Paid Search team at Mountain Warehouse.
As the PPC Manager, you will focus on Paid Search accounts (PMAX, PPC, Display) with a yearly budget of £8M, responsible for developing and executing effective PPC strategies to drive targeted traffic, increase conversions, and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) across 10 different regions and 3 brands.
This is a key leadership role requiring expertise in PPC campaign management, data analysis, and team management. You will work closely with the Head of Acquisition and Retention, along with other senior stakeholders, to deliver performance and achieve targeted goals across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive PPC strategies across multiple channels—including Google Ads (PMax, paid search), Bing Ads, display, and social media advertising platforms—with an £8M annual budget.
- Manage day-to-day performance and optimisation of PPC campaigns, including budget allocation, bid management, and ad creative testing, to meet desired performance metrics.
- Audit PPC accounts to identify gaps and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Analyse campaign data to uncover trends, insights, and optimisation opportunities.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to a team of PPC specialists, ensuring they have the tools and support needed for success.
- Lead 1-2-1s, identify training needs, conduct annual reviews, and set objectives for PPC Executives.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep the brand ahead in PPC innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including country trading, design, and analytics, to align with overall marketing objectives.
- Stay updated on PPC landscape changes and emerging technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare monthly reports (including P&L) and presentations to share campaign performance, insights, and recommendations with stakeholders. Provide actionable insights to drive incremental conversions.
- Maintain relationships with Google and Bing account managers and test new tools and products as they become available.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
