About Itineris

At Itineris, we help ambitious organisations turn complexity into performance by using strategy, creativity and data to drive measurable outcomes. As an award-winning digital agency working across the education, charity and professional services sectors, we build campaigns grounded in clarity, impact and collaboration.

Performance marketing is a critical part of our offering, and we're known for delivering smart, efficient campaigns that make a real difference to our clients' growth.

The Role

We're looking for a PPC/Paid Media Account Manager with strong hands-on experience in Google Ads and excellent client relationship skills.

This role is all about combining technical ability with clear communication. You'll be managing tightly run campaigns where every pound has to work hard; planning, optimising, and reporting on activity that drives measurable results. At the same time, you'll act as a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout the campaign lifecycle.

You'll take day-to-day ownership of paid search campaigns across Google Ads, from keyword research and account setup, through to optimisation, reporting and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Google Ads campaigns for a portfolio of clients, with a focus on lead generation and acquisition, taking full ownership of strategy, optimisation and performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor on campaign delivery, insights and opportunities.
  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting and ad copy development aligned to client goals.
  • Set up and maintain search, display, remarketing and Performance Max campaigns, ensuring accounts are structured for efficiency and clarity.
  • Monitor pacing, budgets and bids closely, maximising performance from smaller, tightly controlled budgets.
  • Analyse campaign data to identify trends, diagnose performance issues and propose clear optimisation actions.
  • Produce clear, insight-led reports that explain results, highlight value and recommend next steps; build and automate reporting dashboards to reduce manual processes and improve visibility of account performance.
  • Ensure robust tracking and attribution is in place, feeding first-party, CRM and conversion data back into advertising platforms to enhance bidding and optimisation.
  • Collaborate with creative, content and UX colleagues to optimise ad messaging and landing pages for conversion.
  • Stay up to date with Google Ads innovations, beta opportunities and best practices.
  • Support new business activity by contributing Google Ads expertise and performance insights.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

You'll thrive in this role if you're confident running Google Ads campaigns end to end, and just as comfortable explaining results to a client as you are refining a bid strategy. You're proactive and commercially minded, take accountability for results, and continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and campaign performance.

You'll likely bring:

  • 3+ years' hands-on experience managing campaigns in Google Ads, with proven experience managing PPC accounts independently and taking full ownership of strategy, optimisation and performance.
  • Proven success in delivering lead generation or B2B campaigns.
  • Strong client-facing skills, able to present data clearly and build long-term relationships.
  • A track record of making smaller budgets work hard, driving efficiency and meaningful results.
  • Good working knowledge of campaign tracking, attribution and troubleshooting (UTMs, pixels, tags), including feeding first-party, CRM and conversion data back into advertising platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify opportunities and turn insights into measurable performance improvements.
  • Experience building and automating reporting dashboards, reducing manual processes and improving visibility of account performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
