£55-£60k - Help shape conversations that genuinely change lives. Their work influences policy, shapes public debate, improves patient outcomes, and supports organisations that make a genuine difference. They are now looking for an experienced Account Director to join their growing team.
The Role
You will lead communications for one of the UK's most influential organisations that works to identify and tackle ethnic inequities in the health and care systems. Your other main client will be an innovative medical cannabis company whose products help people manage painful conditions such as Parkinson's, Crohn's Disease and Arthritis.

This varied role combines strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, media relations, reputation management and issues-led campaigns. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, helping them navigate complex communications challenges while delivering campaigns that influence decision-makers and create meaningful change. You'll also mentor junior colleagues, contribute to agency growth and play an important role in maintaining the consultancy's exceptional client service standards.
About You
You'll already be operating at Account Director level within an agency environment and enjoy working on campaigns that combine strategic thinking with social impact. You will bring to the role:
- Experience across patient advocacy, healthcare communications or highly regulated sectors.
- Strong experience managing complex stakeholder engagement programmes.
- Experience delivering policy, behaviour change or public engagement campaigns.
- Excellent media relations skills and a strong understanding of the UK media landscape.
- Experience advising on issues management, reputation and corporate communications.
- Outstanding client management and consultancy skills.
- Experience within healthcare, life sciences, public sector or regulated industries would be highly advantageous.
- Public affairs experience would be a bonus but is not essential.
