VCCP Roar

VCCP Roar is a fully integrated PR and marketing agency, with deep specialisms in consumer, technology, corporate reputation and financial services. The agency brought together three specialist agencies with long heritage in their specialisms: Good Relations (consumer), Harvard (tech) and Teamspirit (financial services) into one fully integrated cross-sector business.

The opportunity

We’re looking for an Account Executive, to join our consumer team, working with a friendly, creative and ambitious team.

This role will give you the opportunity to work on big integrated accounts including some key agency clients such as Halfords, National Rail, Pepsico and Starling Bank (exact mix TBC).

The type of work this role will encompass includes:

  • Product launches
  • Event activation
  • News generation and content creation campaigns
  • Influencer projects
  • A mix of retained and project work

  • An individual with a love of lifestyle, consumer media and culture
  • A strong collaborative team player who leads by example – embodying the values of the agency (approachable, responsible, proud, clear, honest, agile, lean, on time, happy, curious) and meets best practice standards for delivery across accounts
  • Driven, proactive, enthusiastic and able to turn your hand to anything. You’ll be hungry and ambitious for yourself and for your clients, a self-starter who is always on the lookout for opportunities
  • A media hound! A good understanding of media and what makes a story. Have had some experience in successfully selling-in to journalists, building your own ‘contacts book’ and want to do more of this. You’ll want to get involved in everything from product placement, news generation, picture stories and celebrity ambassadors
  • Be able to produce high-quality written materials, including press releases, social media posts and briefing documents
  • Understand the social landscape - understand what kind of content works socially, the ability to write social copy, able to identify influencers and create campaigns with them and understanding how to exploit the different social channels for your clients
  • A creative thinker that’s culturally savvy- able to contribute to ideas for impactful campaign themes and tactics that populate culture
  • Be able to build strong relationships – with clients and your team – keen to build on your client relationship skills so you’re on the way to becoming a trusted consultant
  • Good basics in account management – committed to delivering campaign milestones on time, and the ability to take responsibility for monthly client updates, weekly reporting and report wraps ups – with accuracy and pride
  • Be confident in working with agency media tools, including Roxhill media database and Signal/Agility media monitoring and evaluation tool
  • Good presentation skills – can confidently present small elements of activity at client meetings
