I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the job
In this role, your day starts by sense-checking media lists and campaign angles with the Account Executive, making sure every story has a clear hook and a reason to land.
You’ll work directly with early-stage founders and corporate clients, translating their ideas into sharp, actionable briefs and guiding them on how to show up in the media.
A big part of the role is relationships: staying close to journalists, knowing what they care about, and building trust over time so your stories cut through.
This is a hands-on environment where everyone rolls up their sleeves. You’ll collaborate across the team daily, getting involved in everything from outreach to strategy, and playing a visible role in the growth of both clients and the agency itself.

About you
Essential experience:
You must have corporate / B2B tech PR agency experience at AM level to be considered for this role.
The ideal candidate:
- You’re already operating as an Account Manager, or a strong Senior Account Executive who’s ready to step up and take on more ownership.
- You’ve spent time in corporate reputation, tech PR, or founder-led campaigns, so you understand how to shape a story that actually lands and why it matters.
- You’re comfortable sitting between the team and leadership, guiding junior colleagues while acting as a trusted right-hand to the founder.
- You’ve got a solid track record of landing national coverage, not by chance, but through consistent outreach, strong angles, and well-built media relationships.
- Most importantly, you bring an entrepreneurial mindset. You’re not just there to follow the process – you’re keen to build it, refine it, and make it better as the agency grows. And you’re ready to hit the ground running, with availability to start full-time in August.
