PR Account Manager / Senior Account Manager
Searching for a confident, self-motivated Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to take the lead on B2B tech PR accounts in the heart of the City.
This is a role for someone who already knows their way around B2B technology PR and is ready to own client relationships, shape the story and help bring on the next generation of the team. Working from a modern City of London base, you'll join a small, ambitious communications agency where strategic thinking and hands-on delivery matter in equal measure.
About the role
A well-established and growing PR and communications agency specializing in B2B technology is looking for an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join its close-knit team. The culture is collaborative and fast-paced, the kind of small team where everyone takes ownership and gets stuck in, from high-level strategy through to the day-to-day detail. It suits a self-starter who wants real responsibility and the room to grow.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Managing B2B tech PR accounts with confidence and increasing independence
- Supporting and helping to develop junior members of the team
- Bringing a strategic mind to the table, turning client objectives into sharp, well-targeted media pitches
- Writing and editing with confidence, including producing strong first-draft press releases and copy
- Running media relations and outreach, securing coverage and spotting newsworthy angles
- Presenting confidently to clients and, when required, at industry events
- Managing client calls, emails and day-to-day relationships, and providing sound counsel
- Contributing to new business through upselling, cross-selling and identifying fresh opportunities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
