At AMBITIOUS, we call this role PR Consultant, but if you’re looking around the industry, you may see similar opportunities advertised as PR Executive, Senior PR Executive, Account Executive or even Account Manager in some agencies.
If you’re currently working at these levels with three to five years’ experience and looking for the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you. Annual salary is from £28,000 plus generous holiday and benefits.
About the Role
This is an opportunity to work across a portfolio of established clients tackling complex and meaningful challenges, particularly in the areas of ESG, sustainability, social impact and corporate communications.
And, ideally, you’ll have agency experience working with corporate or B2B clients. That might include sectors such as professional services, technology, healthcare, education, social impact or sustainability but we’re more interested in your potential, enthusiasm and appetite to learn than ticking every box.
You’ll be working closely with experienced consultants and senior leaders on integrated campaigns, media relations, content creation, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications programmes.

What you’ll do:
- Support senior team leads managing the day-to-day communications activity from PR through to digital, social and content
- Develop content, engage media and support the planning for clients
- Be a true consultant when it comes to advising your clients
- Support on new business through insights and research to support our strategic process
- Be part of the team responsible for the driving the agency’s B Corp activities

Required skills
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:
- Ideally three to five plus years of experience in a PR agency – with a focus on client management and campaign delivery
- Strong track record of delivering results for B2B clients. Ideally within professional services and property sectors
- Excellent leadership and communication skills. A confident style with the ability to inspire clients and motivate colleagues
- Passion for PR agency life
- Driven by self-development and learning

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
- Exceptional organisational skills, time management and working to deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Strong client management skills
- Experience within a PR agency
- Experience in running digital PR campaigns and working with AI tools
- Creative approach – track record of developing creative content that delivers great results
- Keen networker and adept at building relationships with key influencers and industry spokespeople
