PR & Communications Manager

The Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on PR & Communications Manager responsible for:

  • Leading both internal and external communication strategies
  • Driving global brand visibility
  • Managing PR agencies across key markets
  • Shaping consistent messaging
  • Ensuring high-quality media coverage aligned with business objectives

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A strong, strategic communicator
  • Highly organised with proven experience in international PR coordination
  • Data-driven, analytical, and proactive

Key Responsibilities

PR & Media Relations

  • Develop and execute comprehensive global PR strategies
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of press packs and media alerts
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry stakeholders
  • Stay agile within a fast-moving media landscape, adapting strategies accordingly
  • Manage and coordinate incoming media enquiries for brand spokespeople

Agency Management

  • Lead and coordinate external PR agencies across global markets
  • Define clear objectives, KPIs, and deliverables for agency partners
  • Monitor and evaluate agency performance, ensuring alignment with the global Mulberry brand strategy
  • Optimise budget efficiency while delivering high-quality PR activities and collateral
  • Create and maintain accurate, consistent, and on-brand PR materials, including press kits, fact sheets, and brand assets
  • Provide support for product launches, campaigns, and events with tailored PR collateral

Internal Communications

  • Develop and execute internal communications strategies to ensure cohesion across teams and channels
  • Create engaging internal content, including announcements, updates, and leadership messaging
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to maintain clear, transparent communication organisation-wide

Market Coordination

  • Collaborate with regional teams to adapt global messaging for local markets
  • Balance brand consistency with cultural and market-specific nuances
  • Support regionally tailored campaigns and PR initiatives

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce regular performance reports on:
    • PR impact
    • Media coverage
    • Campaign objectives
  • Monitor the reach and quality of media placements globally
  • Analyse data to optimise PR strategies and demonstrate return on investment
  • Provide actionable recommendations to enhance brand visibility and positioning

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in PR and communications
  • Experience managing external agencies and working across multiple international markets
  • Strong media relations and storytelling skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organised, with strong project management proficiency
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into strategic action
  • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, global work environment
