PR and Communications Specialist: Offshore Wind Industry
Location: Copenhagen HQ, Vejle, Norwich

As our PR and Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and delivering Cadeler's external communications. The role combines hands-on execution of press releases, corporate announcements, project milestone communications and media activities with the ability to provide sound communications support during reputation-sensitive situations. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will help ensure our messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with Cadeler's strategic priorities.

Your Main Responsibilities Include
- Leading the planning, development, and execution of external communications, including press releases, corporate announcements, and supporting communication materials.
- Owning communications related to contract awards, project milestones, newbuild progress, and other strategic company announcements, including supporting financial reporting communications and executive messaging.
- Managing media enquiries while building and maintaining strong relationships with trade, business, and national media.
- Coordinating media interviews, vessel visits, and preparing communication materials for company spokespersons.
- Supporting crisis and incident communications by preparing holding statements, media responses, and stakeholder messaging within agreed governance frameworks.
- Collaborating closely with Communications and Marketing, Investor Relations, Sustainability, Operations, Commercial, Legal, and Executive Management to ensure proactive planning, stakeholder alignment, and effective communications across the organisation.
- Contributing to the continuous development of Cadeler's corporate reputation and external positioning in existing and emerging markets.

We are looking for a proactive and strategic PR and communications professional who combines excellent storytelling skills with sound judgement and a collaborative mindset. You enjoy managing multiple stakeholders and priorities, think ahead, anticipate communication implications, remain calm under pressure, and know how to communicate complex topics in a clear, engaging, and credible way.
We think you will be a good match if you:
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Bring at least five years of experience within PR, media relations, or corporate communications, preferably in an international B2B environment.
- Have proven experience managing corporate announcements, media relations, executive and financial communications, and crisis communications while collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience from the offshore wind, energy, maritime, infrastructure, or another complex industrial sector is considered an advantage.
