Job Description

Overview

This position will focus on developing and executing comprehensive PR and marketing plans to enhance GSI’s visibility, promote its mission, and engage with both the community and global audiences.

What are we looking for?

  • A background in public relations, marketing, communications, or a similar field (a degree is preferred but not mandatory).
  • Demonstrated experience in PR, marketing, or communications, ideally within a non-profit or social impact environment.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling narratives and strategic messaging.
  • Proficient in creating and executing innovative marketing and PR strategies.

  • Strengthen Brand Identity

    • Ensure consistency and alignment across all branding and messaging, both internally and externally, to enhance GSI’s public image.
  • Drive Strategic Campaigns

    • Create and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote GSI’s programs, events, services, and fundraising efforts.
  • Expand Media Relations

    • Build and nurture relationships with journalists, media outlets, influencers, and other key stakeholders to secure coverage that amplifies GSI’s reach.
  • Support Organisational Growth

    • Contribute to the overall growth of GSI by attracting participants, donors, and partners through targeted marketing and storytelling efforts.
  • Enhance Digital Engagement

    • Oversee digital marketing platforms, ensuring they align with organisational goals, and use analytics to track and report the success of initiatives.

  • Marketing Campaigns

    • Plan, launch, and oversee marketing campaigns to promote events, programs, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Content Creation
