Job Description

Job Title: PR Executive

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract

Job Location: Shepherds Bush

Based within our Brand/Marketing function and reporting directly to the PR Manager, this role is a central component of Gousto's communications engine. You will join a fast-moving, in-house environment with a lean team, working cross-functionally to support our fast-growing brand footprint.

As our PR Executive, you will own and manage Gousto's day-to-day press office, serving as the first point of contact for all inbound media requests from the consumer, food, and lifestyle press. This highly executional role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with external agencies and internal teams alike to deliver impactful campaigns.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day press office operations, triaging inbound media requests and responding in a timely, on-brand way
  • Write press releases, media statements, and supporting materials for new product launches, product news, and always-on press office moments
  • Pitch proactive stories and news moments to consumer, food, lifestyle and relevant trade media, building genuine journalist relationships in the process
  • Maintain and grow Gousto's media lists, keeping journalist contacts, outlet details, and coverage records up to date
  • Coordinate media samples and journalist boxes, liaising with food and product teams to organise send-outs for product launches, reviews, and seasonal moments
  • Draft holding lines and reactive statements for routine media enquiries, with sign-off from the PR Manager
  • Manage digital PR link-building activity day-to-day, working alongside the SEO team and agency to identify, pitch, and track link opportunities
  • Act as day-to-day contact for delegated agency workstreams, chasing deliverables and keeping projects on track
  • Build and maintain PR coverage trackers and contribute to monthly reporting for senior stakeholders

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
