Description

Amazon is looking for a creative, culturally plugged-in comms professional to join the UK Communications team. This role is for someone who understands how people discover, share, and engage with stories today, whether that's through social feeds, creator content, podcasts, newsletters, streaming platforms, or online communities, as well as traditional earned media. You'll work across Amazon's retail function in the UK, including Prime, shopping innovations and events, and purpose-led campaigns – developing creative, integrated campaigns that demonstrate the value customers get from shopping with Amazon. You'll be a key member of the UK Communications team, reporting to the Head of Consumer Communications.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver creative, integrated campaigns across Amazon's core retail function, including shopping moments, innovations, Prime, and purpose-driven activity
  • Lead campaigns that span earned media, social media, influencer and creator partnerships, and non-traditional channels including podcasts, newsletters, and fandoms
  • Build and maintain relationships across the modern media landscape, from traditional media reporters to creators, podcasters, and cultural commentators
  • Write compelling campaign plans, and public-facing materials
  • Identify and act on emerging trends to generate coverage and conversation
  • Collaborate with agency partners to develop and execute creative campaigns
  • Work closely with internal teams to bring campaigns to life on time and to a high standard

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
