We are looking for a Communications Executive (Colleague & Courier) to join our Communications team. In this exciting role, you will help deliver engaging internal and courier communications that support our Quality campaign, designed to strengthen service excellence across our operations. You will create compelling content, support events and campaigns, and help bring our culture to life through creative and impactful communications that reach colleagues and couriers across the business.
What You will Do
- Deliver engaging communications that support our Quality campaign and wider business priorities
- Create compelling content across a variety of channels, ensuring messages are clear, engaging and aligned to our brand
- Identify and develop colleague, courier and community stories into engaging written, visual and digital content
- Support the development of social media and internal communications content plans
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to create a consistent pipeline of content opportunities
- Bring fresh and creative ideas to campaigns, helping us find new ways to engage our people
- Write briefs for our in-house creative teams and external agencies to support campaign delivery
- Maintain and update internal communication channels, distribution lists and templates
- Manage communications planners, track campaign activity and produce monthly engagement reporting
- Support the research, drafting and distribution of communications materials across the business
- Assist with operational briefings, presentations, events and campaign collateral
- Ensure communications are distributed accurately, professionally and on time
- Travel to other sites to support key business moments and events

What We are Looking For
- Degree educated or equivalent industry experience in Communications, Marketing, PR or a related field
- Previous experience in a communications, content or internal communications role
- A genuine passion for storytelling, communications and content creation
- Excellent copywriting, proofreading and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working within a large or complex organisation would be advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders
- Comfortable working with data and reporting on communication performance
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Proactive, adaptable and able to identify opportunities to improve engagement and communication effectiveness
- Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel and Teams
- Experience using Copilot or other AI tools would be beneficial
