The Role: PR & Social Media Assistant

This is a full-time position based in London, with 2–3 office days per week at our Shoreditch office.

Key Responsibilities

You will contribute to the delivery of PR campaigns, supporting in the following areas:

  • Drafting and refining press materials (press releases, pitches, media reports)
  • Researching target media contacts, influencers, and industry trends to maintain updated media lists
  • Supporting content creation for social media—crafting captions, sourcing/staffing visual assets, and maintaining brand voice
  • Scheduling and monitoring social posts across platforms
  • Engagement with online communities, announcement platforms, and tracking branded discussions
  • Measuring and reporting on social media performance/engagement
  • Assisting with press visits, events, and influencer collaborations

You will report directly to a Manager, collaborating with the wider team to ensure:

  • Consistent branded messaging
  • Project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High-quality client service

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for use across internal clients, brands, media, and digital communities.
  • A keen interest in social media, including experience or affinity with platforms; prior familiarity or ability to brief on trends is beneficial.
  • Skills in collecting, refining, and personalising media briefings and influencer requests—Argentina’s experience in content and visual briefing.
  • CreativeDrafting fluency in press releases, social copy, and short-form content tailored for press outlets, creators, and clients.
  • Logical/Solid organisational skills to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in standard office/CMS/collaboration tools; gaining experience—or interest—in social/tracking platforms, including advance focus.
