Practice Coordinator
About the Role
Practice Manager Generoso Garcia is seeking a Practice Coordinator to join his team at Bupa Dental Care Corby.
This is a full-time opportunity working 40 hours per week, across a 4-week rota, including 1 weekend per month.
Practice Location
Bupa Dental Care Corby is located at: Cottingham Rd, Corby NN17 2UR.
The practice is situated in a convenient healthcare hub, close to:
- Lakeside Medical Surgery
- Corby’s boating lake
Free on-site parking is available for staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
As Practice Coordinator at Bupa Dental Care, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Practice Manager with clinical and compliance aspects of practice operations. Ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centred care, your focus will be on:
People
- Provide comprehensive support for clinical administrative tasks under the Practice Manager.
- Maintain effective clinical governance systems to ensure seamless operations and enhanced patient care and practice performance.
- Offer leadership and mentorship to:
- Dental nurses
- Trainee nurses
- Assist in onboarding, induction, and competency development of clinical staff.
- Actively participate in practice meetings and training sessions.
- Promote a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Deputise for the Practice Manager in clinical matters when required.

- Act as a patient advocate and chaperone, where needed.
- Manage and respond to clinical-related patient feedback and complaints.
- Maintain high standards of communication and professionalism across the clinical team.
Performance
- Oversee infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols and act as IPC Lead.
- Ensure clinical equipment is maintained, cleaned, and compliant with regulations.
- Lead clinical audits and implement action plans.
- Support the Practice Manager in ensuring compliance with:
- CQC
- GDC
- NHS standards
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to practice reporting and KPIs.
- Oversee stock control and waste reduction in clinical areas.
