As a Practice Leader, you will join our team to guide Support Workers, promoting person-centred care in line with Thera's mission to empower individuals to live their chosen lives.

About the Role
As Practice Leader, your role ensures:
- Choices and control in all supportive measures.
- Safety and social well-being by supporting conditions for emotional and psychological recovery, incorporating Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles.
- Daily life and community inclusion through assistance with personal care, finances, meal preparation, and local engagement.

You will:
- Advocate for client rights, independence, and inclusion
- Mentor support teams while upholding quality standards
- Maintain accurate records and digital systems (e.g. Excel, care planning software)
- Adapt to flexible shift patterns across multiple locations

Responsibilities
- Promote autonomy while adhering to safeguarding, health & safety, and care regulations
- Empower individuals in decision-making while ensuring policy compliance
- Lead by example, driving continuous improvement through feedback and accountability
- Ensure wellbeing support aligns with organisational values
- Access critical knowledge across safeguarding mechanisms and organisational policies
Key Skills & Experience
We seek applicants with: ✔ Support experience with learning disabilities ✔ Stress-tested understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and care regulations ✔ Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making ability ✔ Confidence navigating digital platforms (Microsoft Excel, care planning tools) ✔ Flexible working adaptability with willingness to travel locally across multiple sites
