Practice Manager - Full-time - maternity contract

Practice Manager – Full-time – Maternity Contract

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to help lead the team and support the smooth running of the practice while the practice owner is on maternity leave.

This role would suit a confident and compassionate individual who can bring structure, organisation, and strong leadership to the team. Clinical support will remain in place from the Lead Vet, Head Nurse, and Head Receptionist, along with monthly check-ins and ongoing support from the practice owner during their leave.

Previous experience in a veterinary practice is not essential; however, proven leadership ability, strong organisational skills, and the ability to motivate and support a team are qualities we value highly.

You will oversee the operational management of the practice to ensure the delivery of high-quality animal healthcare services, working closely with the business development partner to achieve business objectives and maximise the practice’s potential.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
