Job Description: Practice Nurse Corporate Onsite, Bupa EC3V 1PP
Permanent - Full time, 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm

About the Role
We make health happen: At Bupa, we offer a range of services including GP appointments, physiotherapy, and health assessments, as well as having an on-site dedicated nurse. Our services and treatments are available to everyone – not just those with health insurance.
We are seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to work as part of a multi-functional team on both internal and external levels, providing treatment for minor ailments. You would be working within agreed protocols documented in the Client’s Service Level Agreement, and where appropriate deliver relevant health screening programmes reflecting the agreed needs of the business, supported by the on-site lead GP.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Working as a Practice Nurse in an MDT within an extremely busy Medical Centre in a large Corporate Setting.
- Assessing and Treating minor injuries and medical conditions in conjunction with the on-site General Practitioner and where appropriate to liaise with them.
- Assisting the on-site first aid team and security team with first aid care and emergency care.
- Providing immunizations and travel health advice.
- Contributing to the attendance at work of employees by identifying the most appropriate treatments for individuals, or onward referral where appropriate.
- Providing women’s health – cervical screening.
- Using standard office equipment and general medical equipment e.g. Defibrillators.
- Managing & maintaining appropriate stock levels through various ordering systems.
- Helping to ensure a safe work environment.

Key Skills / Qualifications
- Post registration experience (minimum 2 years UK experience) - preferably in A&E or Primary Care + First level (Adult) RN.
- Broad clinical skills (e.g. venepuncture, travel vaccination, female health, micro-suction, etc.).
- Good communication (verbal & written), including Report writing skills.
- Basic counselling/interpersonal skills.
- Presentation skills.
- Computer literate.
