This post sits within a supportive, skilled, and committed adolescent team. You will join two clinical psychologists within a full MDT that provides high-quality, evidence-based assessment and treatments. You will have the opportunity to develop your CBT skills with regular supervision from the consultant psychologist in the team; there are also opportunities to work systemically, including alongside our systemic therapists.

You will be responsible for your own clinical caseload and you will be involved in assessments, care planning, and offering interventions for children and adolescents with support from the multi-disciplinary team. There are opportunities for joint working with a range of professionals within the team and across the service, for delivering teaching and for contributing to group work.

The Adolescent Team is a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team of clinicians from the fields of psychiatry, clinical psychology, family therapy, nursing, social work, creative, and occupational therapy.

The Adolescent Team provides assessments and evidence-based therapies to children and young people with complex mental health difficulties including depression, emerging psychosis, OCD, PTSD, and social anxiety. The service has particularly close links with Youth Offending Services, and with our Assertive Outreach Team and various National and Specialist Services; we also work in close partnership with social care, education, and local third sector services. The service is committed to providing high-quality, collaborative evidence-based services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
