JOB PURPOSE
You will act as the Store Director’s alter ego and deputy, ready to step into leadership when needed. As the Prada Deputy Store Director, your role includes:
- Embodiment of Prada’s philosophy and values, communicating them authentically to the local market, team, and clientele.
- Driving business success by ensuring top performance alongside the Store Director and Concessions Managers, including commercial strategy, report analysis, and action planning.
- Prioritising the client experience—exemplary service on the sales floor, fostering loyalty, and delivering outstanding after-sales engagement.
- Leading a results-driven team, balancing business objectives with skill development and motivation.
Additionally, you’ll oversee operational efficiency, ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, and uphold the luxury standards that define the Prada experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business & Strategic Leadership
- Support the Store Director in setting strategies to exceed financial targets and boost sales performance.
- Provide commercial recommendations to enhance productivity and suggest innovative approaches.
- Mentor the team in KPI-focused action plans, including cross-selling and up-selling efforts.

Client Experience & Brand Representation
- Act as the Brand Ambassador, embodying Prada’s values on the sales floor and at local events.
- Cultivate omnichannel awareness, encouraging digital tool adoption to build lasting client relationships.
- Ensure timely, high-quality service in e-commerce order fulfilment and execution.
- Champion product expertise, advocating for training programs to enrich team knowledge.
Team Leadership & Development
- Motivate and inspire the team, fostering collaboration and a positive culture.
- Support recruitment processes through market mapping, profile definition, and interviews.
- Contribute to internal talent development, identifying skill gaps and creating growth opportunities.
- Master company tools (IT/digital platforms) and on-board new hires on policies and workflows.
Operational & Compliance Management
- Ensure efficiency in delegation, organising staff to meet business demands.
- Lead by example to preserve high standards of product care and service protocols.
- Maintain strict compliance with financial policies, inventory control, and reporting standards.
- Coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house teams, optimising asset management and communication.
Visual & Client-Focused Growth
- Align with the Store Director to design effective visual merchandising and sales-driven displays.
- Raise NPS (Net Promoter Score) and loyalty behaviours, including repurchase rates (MVG/MM/CL/VV).
- Actively suggest footfall-building initiatives and competitively analyse local events.
- Drive positive client experiences through the Prada Selling Ceremony, ensuring tailored excellence.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Experience & Passion
- Fashion, art, and luxury retail—a natural affinity is essential.
- Preference for candidates with experience in luxury retail or trusted department stores.
- Strong foundation in CRM and clienteling.
Leadership & Commercial Acumen
- Exceptional ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments.
- Integrity, motivation, and communication—key traits for driving performance.
- Awareness of local retail compliance and legislation.
